Wednesday 2nd April – Ladies Set the Standard
🔵 St Sylvesters 3-5 V 1-7 Fingallians
The senior ladies opened their campaign with a composed home performance, showing great structure and determination across the pitch. A strong start to the season from our top team.
🔵 St Sylvesters 0-5 V 2-5 St Finians Swords
The second team showed good shape and effort but just couldn't break through a tight Finians defence. Plenty of positives in terms of work rate and defensive organisation.
🔵 St Sylvesters 7-8 V 3-10 Clanna Gael/Fontenoy B
A brilliant attacking display from the third team, who played with freedom and flair. A huge scoring return shows what this group is capable of when they click.
Saturday 5th April – Solid Shifts Across the Club
🔵 St Sylvesters 1-14 V 3-10 Castleknock A
The U14 first team boys gave a strong account of themselves in a well-matched contest. Great accuracy and composure on show, with fine teamwork across the lines.
🔵 St Sylvesters 1-1 V 6-12 St Patricks (D)
A tough outing for the U14 second team boys, but one filled with effort and grit. Every match like this adds experience, and this group is building character.
🔵 St Sylvesters 3-9 V 4-2 Wanderers
A cracking result away from home for the U15 girls, who combined disciplined defending with great movement up front. They’re progressing well and playing with real spirit.
🔵 St Sylvesters 5-11 V 0-8 Cuala A
An excellent result for the U16 boys, who looked confident in all sectors. From back to front, this was a strong and composed team display.
🔵 St Sylvesters 0-14 V 2-11 Ballinteer St Johns
The senior men’s team put in a big shift in a competitive clash. Solid work ethic and plenty of scoring chances, but goals were the deciding factor.
🔵 St Sylvesters 1-15 V 1-11 Geraldine P. Moran
The second team men secured a valuable away win through smart play and sustained pressure. Their control of the game stood out.
Sunday 6th April – Minors and U15s Close Out the Week
🔵 St Sylvesters 7-8 V 6-9 Na Fianna A
The U15 boys' first team served up a high-scoring cracker. Loads of attacking threat and some real sharp shooting saw them come out on top in a tight contest.
🔵 St Sylvesters 5-10 V 1-5 Ballinteer St Johns B
A dominant performance from the U15 boys’ second team, who showed real purpose and structure. A great all-round effort at home.
🔵 St Sylvesters 1-10 V 1-25 Clontarf
A tough assignment for the minor hurlers' first team, who met a sharp and organised Clontarf side. The effort was there throughout—this group will take lessons from the encounter.
🔵 St Sylvesters 6-8 V 2-15 Erin Go Bragh
The second team minor hurlers delivered a big win built on energy and efficiency. Six goals and some brilliant team play gave them the edge.
And finally...
More sun and fun for our intrepid U-8 girls as we visited neighbours Naomh Mearnóg and also Peregrines. Some well needed sustenance was availed of afterwards !
