2021 Girls – Football
A big day in Broomfield as our 2021 girls kicked off their Syls careers. A record opening day saw 40 girls take part, the biggest ever start for the girls’ academy. Huge credit to the brilliant coaches for organising such a fantastic and smoothly run opening day.
2018 Boys – Football
The boys began their post-academy journey with their first training session of the year. Over 60 lads attended, showing great skills and tremendous effort. Well done to all the coaches for putting on a great session. Next up is a local derby against Naomh Mearnóg.
2017 Girls - Football
Fabulous day out in the Castle for the 2017 girls against Skerries. Great efforts all round!
2017 Boys – Hurling
The lads were in Go Games action. Pods 1 and 2 travelled to Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh and St Brigid’s, while Pod 3 hosted Naomh Mearnóg in the Castle. Serious hurling on display as always.
2016 Girls – Football
The girls were thrilled to receive fabulous new kit bags this week 💙💚. To top it off, they did brilliantly in two football matches against Naomh Mearnóg and Fingallians. 🏆🙌
2015 Girls – Football
The U10 girls played both home and away to Clontarf, marking their first football matches back after the summer break. 💪
2015 Boys – Hurling
The lads hosted Naomh Fionnbarra and travelled to Clontarf, showing off great hurling skills and a positive attitude after the summer break. Lots of progress was evident.
2014 Girls – Football & Camogie
Some of the girls travelled to Donaghmore/Ashbourne for a blitz, taking part in three football and three camogie matches. They played their hearts out and represented Syls with pride. Huge thanks to Donaghmore/Ashbourne for their hospitality and a well-run day.
2014 Boys – Hurling
The boys returned to Go Games with two teams at home in Bridgefield against Fingallians and two away to Wild Geese. It was their first hurling action since the summer and a real test in North County Dublin.
2010 Girls – Football
The A team got their championship campaign off to a strong start with a good win in a very competitive match against Ballinteer St John’s.
2009 Boys – Football
Team 3 battled hard in their championship clash with St Vincent’s, earning a hard-fought draw.
