Our youngest Syls stars took center stage this weekend, welcoming St Vincentβs, Naomh MearnΓ³g and Raheny to the Castle, while the girls enjoyed the sunshine hosting Fingallians and travelling to St Patβs Donabate. Plenty of skills, teamwork and smiles on show β a brilliant display of developing talent and enjoyment of the game. ππ΅π’

Our U12 T2 footballers rounded off a great season against a strong Lucan Sarsfields side. Despite a narrow two-point loss, their consistency across the year sees them top of Division 6 β a credit to their teamwork, effort and development all season long. ππ΅π’

π U13 Girls β Ladies Football
Our U13 Ladies Footballers produced a superb attacking display in the Shield Division 1 Knockout Stages, overcoming St Judeβs on a scoreline of 11-15 to 8-8. A brilliant performance full of movement, confidence and support play β a sign of how well this group is progressing. ππ

The Division 1 side put in a strong second-half performance away to Vincents, just falling short at the final whistle.

A mixed weekend for the U14s.
The T1 hurlers battled bravely in the Division 2 Cup Final against Finians (Swords). Despite being ten points down at one stage, they fought back brilliantly before narrowly losing 3-10 to 1-14.
The T3 footballers produced a strong all-round performance in their Cup Semi-Final at Innisfails, earning their spot in the final. Great determination and team effort across both codes. π΅π’

A memorable Halloween Friday for our U14 girls, who travelled to France π«π· for their first-ever European Blitz, representing Syls with pride and passion on international soil. They returned home to beat St Brigidβs on the AWP to reach their first Championship Final. A fantastic group full of energy, teamwork and smiles! πͺπ΅π’

A tough weekend for our U15 girls, but one full of learning and experience across both teams.
The B team bowed out of the Division 6 Championship Knockout Stage against a strong Whitehall Colmcille side (5-18 to 0-6), showing good teamwork and effort to the end.
The C team faced St Finians Swords B in the Division 11 Shield, finishing 3-4 to 12-10 in favour of the visitors β but plenty of positives to build on and great commitment from every player. ππ΅π’

The U16B ladies battled right to the end against a very strong Ballinteer St Johnβs outfit in their Shield Division 8 Final, but came out on the wrong side of the result. So many of them were sick or carrying injuries, but still turned up for their team and gave everything they had.
